CROSS-BORDER TRADE
Texas continues to lead the fight for creating the best business climate for companies looking to expand or relocate their operations. As Texas Secretary of State, Border Commerce Coordinator and Chair of the Border Trade Advisory Committee, David advised the Texas Department of Transportation to advance infrastructure projects that facilitate cross-border trade between Texas and Mexico. David also personally toured eight different international bridges, including becoming the first Secretary of State to visit the Anzalduas International Bridge and serving as the 2019 International Bridge Speaker in the Abrazo Ceremony on the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge for George Washington’s Birthday Celebration in Laredo.

David holds his law and finance degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.
